Untill the 1970's, the only variety to be cultivated in this area was Carignan. With the 1970's, Syrah and then Grenache were planted, and they both represent now a substantial part of the vineyards. In all, Syrah, grenache, and Carignan contibute to 85-90 % of our wine production. Muscatel grape, Maccabeu, white and grey grenache, are used to make fortified wine. White Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot have recently been introduced. The sauvignon is vinified to elaborate our white dry wine named "Blanc de Blanc". The latter ones are vinified into the denomination "Vin de Pays"

The whole of the vineyard is under the supervision of a viticultural technician, who also advises the winegrowers on the different stages of production. |
